Covenant Books was founded 40 years ago and flourished immediately as it gained a reputation for quality goods and excellent service.

​

Our mission is to encourage spiritual development by providing a large range of Catholic Christian resources and by supporting the work of parishes and schools in teaching the Catholic faith, as well as helping individuals to grow in prayer and faith.

We stock hundreds of bibles, books, cards, statues, CDs and religious memorabilia.

We are especially known for the beautiful French Statues we stock - lovingly crafted by the sisters at the Bethleem Monastery in France.

We offer a specialist service to primary schools, stocking a wide range of resources for religious education.

The shop is tucked in besides the Holy Family Church in Ingol. It isn't the easiest bookshop in Lancashire to find, but is surprisingly big and packed with religious inspiration. We offer a warm welcome here (and freshly brewed coffee). Customers have reflected that the

bookshop is a kind of sanctuary.
